Uptown Arts Stroll

We are happy to have participated in the Northern Manhattan Alliance’s Uptown Arts Stroll.  The stroll is an annual event featuring artists and musicians from Washington Heights and Inwood (the northern most neighborhoods of Manhattan). It is great to be part of such a vibrant community and it was nice to be able to walk to the performance.  We played a short concert of mostly transcriptions to a very receptive audience.  Can’t wait for next year!

  • It was a brilliant concert. The rendition of two movements from the Mozart Requiem was nothing short of a revelation for the way it breathed new life into a familiar piece. And the newer–less familiar-music matched it. So happy the Guidonian Hand was able to perform.
